We had an English presentation seminar by Ms. Asuka Wilson on October 10. It was held in preparation for the WWL (World Wide Learning) program that we will work on in the future.
In this seminar, we were taught how to give a presentation in English. We learned how to express things concisely in English and how to create easy-to-read slides.
Additionally, Ms. Wilson told us the most important part of a presentation is not making slides, but rather, it is “talking”. We should engage with the audience through our speech.
Through this seminar, we were able to learn things we hadn’t been aware of before. I look forward to applying what we learned when we make our presentations.
10月10日の英語プレゼンテーションセミナーでは、これから行われるWWLなどに向けてウィルソン明日香先生から英語でのプレゼンテーションの仕方を教えていただきました。具体的には、簡潔にまとめる方法や、見やすくするコツなどの意識すべき様々なことを教わりました。また、プレゼンテーションは、スライドだけではなく“喋り”も大切と言っていました。このセミナーを通して、私たちが今まで意識してこなかったようなことを知ることができました。プレゼンテーションを作る際には、今回学んだことを十分に生かしていきたいです。
