\"\"Yamanashi Brand Summit: Part 1<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

On January 24th<\/sup>, the Yamanashi Brand Summit was held at our school.
\nAt the opening ceremony, our school\u2019s mascot character \u201cTobiran\u201d was introduced.<\/span><\/p>\n

At this year\u2019s Yamanashi Brand Summit, not only the first and second-year students of the Inquiry Course, but also the second-year students of the General Course participated by presenting posters.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the first session, we saw a presentation by one group who took on the challenge of reducing salt in ramen under the theme\u00a0\u201cWe want to keep eating our favorite foods!\u201d<\/i>\u00a0Another group explored ways to increase awareness of the value of forests under the theme\u00a0\u201cThe Value of Forests.\u201d<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

In the second session, groups included \u201cKy\u014dnan Region Revival Team,\u201d which focused on revitalizing the Ky\u014dnan area, and another group titled \u201cInsects as Pets,\u201d which explored whether keeping insects as pets could help reduce people\u2019s discomfort or fear toward them.
\nAcross all groups, we saw a strong attitude toward inquiry<\/span><\/p>\n

from various perspectives based on each student\u2019s interests and curiosities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yamanashi Brand Summit: Part 2<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Ideas and opinions born from the unique perspectives of high school students attracted the attention of many visitors. Receiving feedback from adults active in the real world also provided students with valuable opportunities to deepen their inquiries.<\/span><\/p>\n

The summit also served as a place for first- and second-year students to interact. By observing each other\u2019s presentations, they discovered new insights and points for improvement. Being able to learn and grow beyond grade levels was an important experience for the students.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the closing ceremony, representatives from each group gave short summaries of their projects, and they received positive feedback from the invited guests.<\/span><\/p>\n

Looking ahead to the upcoming international conference, the students will continue to apply what they learned from this summit and further develop their inquiry activities.<\/span><\/p>\n
